Cinema Bizarre

From left to right: Top: Shin, Yu. Bottom: Romeo, Strify and Kiro.

These five men make up the band known as Cinema Bizarre, Cinema because they like to put on a huge show on stage and Bizarre because when people look at them they think that they are very Bizarre because of the way they dress, their hairstyles and how they do their make-up. The bands look is very similar to the Glam Rock of the 80's and is highly influenced by the Japanese underground culture known as Visual Kei, the bands sound is very Rock,Pop,Electro.

The five members each have their own very unique styles which when meshed with the other members makes one reason people love this band, add their clothing style, with their unique hair styles, over exaggerated make-up and crazy personality's makes this band a future world wide success.

Strify: The vocalist of the band (and the most talkative) is Strify, though he never seems to shut up in interviews he has a way of making anything a good time. He is full of charisma and he always seems to know exactly what to say at the right times, he is EXTREMELY confident and he isn't afraid to show the real him at any time.

Kiro: The bassist of the band and the eldest member though many people find him the cutest because of how short he is and he has such a baby face. Much like Strify he could talk for the world and if Strify isn't talking then you will probably find Kiro is, he loves to joke around and is usually having a laugh with the other members of the band. Kiro is also a Twighlight fanatic! Not only has he watched the first movie twice in English and several times in German he also went and brought the books in English when they FIRST visited the U.S. Kiro probably has the most energy of the band and is usually jumping around just generally being hyper, he is also the stylist of the band.

Yu: The lead guitarist of the band is Yu he is rather quiet at times but when he does speak you can tell him apart instantly, his extremely different look helps too. His look is more Rock than that of the others (even though Romeo is close behind) he is the one you are most likely going to find head banging and just rocking out at the concerts. He loves to go to rock parties more than anything else and he is generally really nice though I dare say people are put off by his extreme look.

Shin: The drummer Shin though he rarely talks in interviews and when in front of the camera he is the total opposite when its just the guys, this super shy and quiet guy turns extremely hyper. If he had a pet parrot he would teach it to beat box and his favourite word in English is Translation. He is the tallest member of the band and he makes Kiro look even smaller than he is, though Shin is the tallest member of the band he is actually the youngest member of the band and is nearly a whole year younger than Kiro.

Romeo: The keyboard player and the newest member of Cinema Bizarre he replaced Luminor when he left (for health reasons) and has seemed to fit in well with the band. Like Yu he leans more to the rock side of their look rather than the glam side and he has a very dark look, he has admitted to being a sex addict but is really sweet and still look for his "Juliet." He is probably the third most talkative member of the band even if he is the newest member, he always has a lot of energy and just like Yu he loves rock parties.

I am aware that Cinema Bizarre have been together since 2005 but I have only just took note of them and their music so what do I think of it? I think they have very unique style (from hair to make-up to clothing to music sound) and their name definitely fits them perfectly, they are not the most amazing band in the world but with the whole package they are going to take the world by storm. They not only create controversy on stage (Kiro kissing the others for example) but they put on spectacular shows whether it be a main show or a DJ set they always know how to get the crowd involved and they were born to perform.

Humanoid

Okay whether you have seen this album cover or not, or whether you are Tokio Hotel fan or not you will still have an opinion. Tokio Hotel is a band made up of four members Bill Kaulitz - Vocals, Bill Kaulitz - Lead Guitar, Georg Listing - Bass Guitar and Gustav Shafer - Drums. However the album cover for their latest album Humanoid only sports Bill, now not that this hasn't been done with other bands before because it has however usually it has a negative effect on the band in the long run.

I know that Bill is the front man and what have you but it still leaves the question why just him? The album cover itself though fits with the album and what Bill and Tom both explained to be the feel of it, it doesn't look very well made. The color scheme is probably the best part of this cover because it goes with the title Humanoid and the actual humanoid with Bill's face also fits in well even if it looks like it has been photo shopped for less than five minutes and it looks really cheap. I do believe that their choice to just have the lead singer on the cover will cause problems in the future because he already gets most of the limelight as it is.

It is my personal opinion that this is the worst album cover they have done the scream album which wasn't great is still better than this and in my opinion if I didn't know who they were and saw this album in the shop it would not draw me in to look at it never mind actually buy it. I think the boys have chosen very badly on this album and thankfully people don't just buy albums for their art work but the actual music.

Tokio Hotel Rant.

Okay I am not really one for ranting about things online but I feel that Tokio Hotel's management has ignored England for long enough now, okay so I know England doesn't have the biggest Tokio Hotel fan base and many of the people turn their back on the music the guys do just because they are German (believe me it happens and I have had several arguments about it) but just because of that doesn't mean we shouldn't get album or single releases. We wouldn't be so bothered if we even got that but no we don't we don't get anything from them, and even the radio stations don't get their music to play.

I understand that they are concentrating on America and breaking into their industry but it is very frustrating when England was supporting them first, now some of you may be sat reading this thinking "Why is she bitching?" or "Tokio Hotel are stupid anyway" or "Not another lame blog about Tokio Hotel not coming over here" but that isn't the case I wouldn't care if they never came over here again as long as we got to hear there music and I don't mean through buying off of the German sites or listening to it through the Internet. If you wanted to buy a Avril album you wouldn't go to a Canadian website to get it would you? No you wouldn't you would walk into any music store and buy it, well guess what you can't actually do that over here with Tokio Hotel and that is what this rant is mostly about the lack of availability of their stuff to the UK fans is appalling and needs to be changed.
